MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

NSA – Ghana has a structure that not only seeks to engage advocacy work in universal health coverage including primary health care, health financing and procurement in the health sector but also to bring maximum benefits to its members as they contribute to the development of the organization.

  • Members become part of a bigger platform that brings as many of its member organizations together to have a stronger voice to speak and act on health-related issues. This is key as numbers matter in advocacy.
  • Members have the opportunity to strengthen their capacity in research and detecting issues of accountability whether policy, systemic, programmatic, managerial, financial, procurement or supply for prompt action through technical and financial support from both in country and international bodies.
  • Members have access to a knowledge resource management system that provides the necessary information and data to support their activities. In view of this, our website where all research work, findings and cases are lodged is readily available. Other electronic platforms are also available for effective communication amongst members.
  • Members become part of a strong partnership and network of non-state actors that encourages good moral conduct amongst each other and provides an avenue for accountability.
  • Members become involved in and contribute to research undertaken by the association that will inform evidence-based advocacy. Research undertaken by member organizations can also be pushed by the association or used for its work.
  • Members are privy to all opportunities/openings made available or known to the association by other in country and international bodies.
